One of my favorite things has been learning about my classmates’ backgrounds. My peers at Fuqua MMS run their own companies, went to boarding school around the world, are educated in neuroscience and engineering, go skydiving on a whim, speak multiple languages, and never seem afraid to try something new. I love being surprised by them, and I have so much more to learn in our time together. Considering that these accomplishments all exist within just my cohort of 50 students, I can’t even image what this diversity and talent look like across the entire Fuqua network.
I wanted to be part of a program that exposed me to domestic and international markets, gave me opportunities to go abroad, and provided me with a sound foundation in business. This program offered all this—and in great locations. The Raleigh-Durham area is currently experiencing massive growth, with new ventures starting up all the time. Kunshan, just outside of Shanghai, is known as one of China’s key economic and technological development zones. Additionally, I was blown away by Fuqua’s team spirit, and I knew I wanted to be a part of such a diverse and motivated group of people.
