Participate in Campout—it’s a lot of fun even if you don’t win basketball tickets

Why Consulting

I’m interested in consulting because I love solving problems for others. In previous internships, I worked on several projects where I had to analyze problems and offer solutions. I liked that I was able to use my analytical and communication skills during the problem-solving process to make an impact. It made me feel a great sense of achievement.

Why I Chose Fuqua

I was drawn to Fuqua’s supportive team atmosphere. My undergraduate studies were at a technical institution where individuality was more prevalent than group work. I realized that teamwork is crucial for a career in business so I wanted to find a place that catered to building those skills. Furthermore, throughout the application process, I received a lot of support from Fuqua alumni. It was those interactions that convinced me that Fuqua was the right place for me.

Before MMS

I interned at various securities and tech companies in China where I worked on projects related to fundraising for asset management plans, product strategy design, and strategy analysis. I also interned for Bain & Co where I worked on projects related to cost control, M&A due diligence, and market entry analysis.

After MMS

My goal is to work in consulting. I’d like to start out getting experience in third-party consulting and eventually join an in-house consulting team for a large company. At some point, I would like to start my own NGO to offer consulting services to organizations.
